Affiliate disclosure.

Club by FYR participates in affiliate programmes. This page names every network and every direct brand, and describes the firewall between what we recommend and what we earn on.

The networks.

• Sovrn Commerce (automatic affiliate conversion on outbound brand links).
• Skimlinks (fallback network on the same set of retailers).
• Amazon Associates UK and US (any Amazon link on the site is an affiliate link).
• LTK / RewardStyle (creator network, used for a small set of retail partners).

• Additional brands added as agreements are signed. Every direct programme is disclosed on every review that links to that brand.

The firewall.

The commission on any given link has never changed the ranking on any given review. It never will. The rubric is scored before any affiliate check happens. If a brand pays a higher commission, that fact is invisible to the reviewer writing the article. The commercial team and the editorial team are the same two people at present, which means the founder writes both cheque and copy; every review is checked by an external editor before publication precisely because of this.

How to spot an affiliate link.

Every affiliate link on the site carries a rel="sponsored nofollow" attribute and is marked in the source as is-affiliate. Buttons and outbound “Buy at…” links are all affiliate links unless flagged otherwise. Inline text links to a brand’s homepage are not affiliate links; they are a courtesy reference.
